Top Gun Flight School

At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

Flight Club Returns

After a hiatus in 2019 with Bianca's arrival in our world, and in 2020 due to COVID, we are very excited to re-launch our paragliding pilots social, Flight Club! 

What is Flight Club? Well to know that, you have to know the rules.  

 

 

 

The First Rule of Flight Club is: "You do not talk about Flight Club."

The Second Rule of Flight Club is: "You DO NOT talk about Flight Club!"   

 

 

On Saturday June 8, 2024 at 11:00 onward we kick things off with a Flight Club Summer BBQ at iParaglide, celebrating our 26 year anniversary.   

 

 

We will re-start our legendary Flight Club Pub Night on Friday July 5, 2024.  We will also have Flight Club Friday August 2, 2024.  

Our epic season-end 2024 celebration on Friday October 4, 2024 @ 19:00 onward at the Yale Brew Pub with our Best Of 2024 Awards, including Best Paragliding Story, Best Tech Article, Best Photo, and Best Video.  

Then some very special awards will go out to the Most Improved Pilot 2024 and Top Gun 2024.

Topping the evening off will be iParaglide's Pilot Winging Ceremony, where new iP2 Pilot graduates including some graduates from the past seasons will be issued their iP2, iP3, iP4 and iP5 Pilot Wings.

We have some authentic replicas of US Air Force CWU-45P Flight Jackets (in Nylon as opposed to Nomex) paragliding pilots may purchase to mount their wings on, or any jacket or flight suit of their choice will do. 

 

 

We are currently busy preparing for a great season of helping new pilots fulfill their flying dreams and work efficient and effective progressions to take them higher.  Looking forward to another year of great stories, images and adventures as paragliding pilots take to the sky!
