Top Gun Flight School

At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

Top Gun References

We recently graduated a CF-18 Hornet Pilot from our Top Gun iP2 Novice Paragliding Pilot program.  Read about his impressions of iParaglide.

Flight Club - Skytrain Yaletown Roundhouse Station - Oct.1 19:00

Hello,

Thanks for all the interest in the Flight Club for what promises to be a great evening for paraglider pilots.

Just a reminder that the legal limits for alcohol and driving have been significantly decreased in BC recently.

To ensure maximum enjoyment, convenience and above all, maximum safety, the location for this paraglider pilots social has been selected to be walking distance from Skytrain.

Yaletown Brew Pub is at 1111 Mainland Street (Mainland@ Helmcken per blue location marker) one block north of Skytrain Roundhouse Station:

At the hostess stand ask for "Flight Club" and we have a table reserved on the Pub side.

We encourage all paraglider pilots to utilize public transit, and look forward to Friday night!

We especially hope to get all new 2010 paraglider pilots and first flight students out for a re-union and exchange photos and videos that were shot.  "Fledglings" especially welcome...

Pilots season finale gathering for Friday October 1, 19:00 at Yaletown Brew Pub.   MAP:

A chance to meet up with fellow pilots over a beer, share flying stories, and plan new adventures for the upcoming year.

Please let us know your availability so we can save tables accordingly.
When you arrive, at the hostess stand ask for paragliding "Flight Club" and you will be taken to our reserved spot n the pub side.

Hope you can make it!

In preparation for our annual Paragliding SIV (Simulation of Flight Incidents) & Intro to Acro clinic, we are making sure all participants have had their reserve repacked within one year, and more importantly, that they understand when and how to throw their paragliding reserve parachute and how to repack it.

For details of the iParaglide Reserve Clinic on Sep.5/10 click on the link below and scroll to the base of the page: http://www.iparaglide.com/p3-intermediate-paragliding/

If you can't spend the full day on the course, we will repack your paragliding reserve parachute for you for $75 otherwise.

The iParaglide Paragliding SIV & Intro to Acro Clinic has been moved accordingly to Sep.11&12/10:

The entire event promises to be a Paragliding Big Escape holiday to the beautiful Pemberton Valley and the spectacular Lillooet Lake.

Rooms are available on first come first serve basis, please book through us ASAP. Once we are full at the Greenwood, we will also have available a few rooms at the House next door.
For those who really want to get away there is also the Lillooet Lake Side Lodge at 10 km close to our SFI beach:

Finally camping on our 12km Paragliding SIV beach but NO facilities.
